Amazing. Built on stilts, I suppose. But wondering how the wooden stilts do not rot in the water? Or maybe, they do not. I don't know.

Thank you for visiting my blog. It's a good question. Those houses are made of wood, but the stils probably are made of stone or brick, so the houses stand in the water for so many years.
